Whidbey Island, Washington State - November 2, 2009 - Marilyn Randall, author and illustrator of poetry books and children's books , announced today that she has opened a new website where all her books will be available for sale. One great feature of the new site is the ability of the buyer to request a personally signed book for someone specific, either themselves or for someone as a gift. After payment is complete, they will receive a signed book directly from the author. The titles of the books available are MY HEART AND SOUL (poetry for the grown up audience), FOR FAITHFUL FRIENDS, BEST OF BEST FRIENDS, INSIDE OUT, A HARD NUT TO CRACK and ELMER THE CHRISTMAS ELF,(all are children's books) .

Marilyn Randall is a former graphic production director in the printing industry and since retiring, has written a total of six books, five of which she both wrote and illustrated for children. She writes in the poetry format and has recently published her new adult book titled MY HEART AND SOUL. All of her writings are very spiritual based, which is reflected in her stories, poetry and prayers. All of her books are available for review at her website www.marilynrandall.com, at the publisher's site www.lulu.com at www.amazon.com and at several other online book retailers, but only through her new web site can the public order signed copies of her books.

Although her art career has spanned several years, she only recently decided to begin to publish her work and the result of her efforts can be found at her new website www.marilynrandall.com along with a biography about her life and detailed information about each book's content. In her own words: "My new website is one of my greatest accomplishments since my career began back in the 1970's and I am so grateful that my fan base has continued to be such a supporting factor in allowing me to keep doing what I love to do. Seeing all of my books displayed so elegantly and being able to share about myself with the public has been a very positive experience for me. The fact that my books are being so well received has been a huge factor in allowing me to set up this site and I am very grateful."

Now at 63 years of age and retired from the commercial printing industry, time has allowed her to pursue this new phase of her career, one that she is hopeful will continue to bring her success. She lives on Whidbey Island in Washington State, in a quiet waterfront community on the famous Puget Sound, near Seattle, Washington and continues to write and illustrate her books, both for the adult and children's audience. Those books, personally signed by the author are now available at her new website www.marilynrandall.com
