1000 High School Musicians Play Musical Tribute To Veterans November 10, 2009

Tuesday November 10th, 8-9am, Father Duffy square- w. 47th/street & Broadway ,1000 high school marching band musicans from across America will debut as the NYC Veterans Day parade "band of pride" performing patriotic anthems in a rousing prelude to the 90th anniversary of the NYC Veterans Day parade.

This patriotic program packed with performances by students will demonstrate the unwavering support the youth of America has for America's Veterans.

Hosted by Alyse Zwick, Miss New York state 2009, the program will include participation of the stand up America "one world" goodwill children's chorus, along with the National Anthem sung A Capeela by Alyssa Cavallaro, a polished Broadway child performer.

Naval cadets from the high school of graphic arts will present the color guard ceremony, followed by the pledge of allegiance. Conducting "the band of pride" standing side by side to Father Duffy's statue, will be dr. Kenneth dye of the University of Notre Dame, "go fighting Irish!".
