Hollywood, USA (MMD Newswire) November 18, 2009 -- Controversial Director Damian Chapa will begin pre-production of his Unauthorized feature film about the life of Marlon Brando.
Amadeus Pictures along with T.P. Aggarwal and Star Entertainments PVT LTD in India are executive producing.The film will touch only lightly on his career but dig more deep in to his child hood and his relationship with the American Indian people. Brando's mother was an abusive alcoholic and his father was a very promiscuous and disturbed man sometimes abusing Brando leaving him emotionally distraught. Brando's own life reflected a great deal of pain leaving many women behind with anger and hatred towards the Iconic movie star. Rita Moreno was so disturbed she attempted suicide during their affair. Many of Brando's ex-lovers where left with memories of bitterness and hatred towards the Hollywood star. However Brando is thought of as sometimes the best actor who has ever lived.
Amadeus Pictures head Damian Chapa will direct and star in "Brando Unauthorized.
"It's an intense story we're going to carefully base the film on public domain records," Chapa said. "Brando has always been his favorite actor-and has been wanting to play him every since Chapa found out Brando's love for the American Indian. Chapa's Father is Mexican American however his mother is partially Cherokee Indian.
Chapa states "Brando's Hollywood life will of course be part of the portrait, however his emotions as a man are much more interesting to me"
Pre-Production is set to begin in early 2010.
