Facebook IPO News: Are Stars Favorably Aligned For Facebook IPO?

Chicago, Ill. (MMD Newswire) May 16, 2012 -- If the Facebook IPO opens promptly on Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. on the NASDAQ exchange the stock should be off to an expansive start with a beneficial Sun/Jupiter conjunction dominant in the heavens, business astrologer Grace K. Morris says.

"If trading starts later in the day, ideally at 10:45 a.m., the chances for sustained success over the years improve," she reports.

But the stock may have accountability problems because Mars and Neptune are aligned in a stressful 180-degree opposition aspect in the first trade chart. Other stressful aspects suggest the company may spend too much based on unrealistically high expectations for cash inflow, she said.

Morris is Business Editor for the Astrology News Service and writes the monthly Astro Economics Stock Market Newsletter. She will be a featured speaker at the United Astrology Conference (UAC) meeting in New Orleans May 24 - 29.

"Investors may be the last to know if the company has overextended itself," she said.

In her monthly newsletter Morris describes a major shift in favored sectors starting in June.

Transportation, leisure, telecommunication and media are some of the new favored sectors for the remainder of 2012. Last cycle's favorites, such as food and beverage stocks, are finished.

Green Mountain Coffee (GMCR) is a good example, she said.

Morris is predicting the market will continue to rise through the spring of 2013.
