The Early Literacy Station Head Starter is designed specifically for Head Start, Early Head Start, Preschool, and Child Care programs serving children from ages 2 to 5. The Head Starter's top-rated developmental software titles and activities are aligned to the Head Start Child Outcomes Framework and address the most critical Head Start Indicators of children's skills, abilities and knowledge.
The 26 interactive education software programs in the Early Literacy Station Head Starter cover seven curricular areas including reading, math, science, social studies, writing, arts and reference. All software is targeted for toddlers through pre-Kindergarten. Early Literacy Station Head Starter educational software titles include award winning Kids Pix Deluxe, Jump Start Toddler, Reader Rabbit, Stellaluna, and many more.
The imaginative interface of the Early Literacy Station Head Starter was designed specifically for toddler and pre-school children with intuitive graphics, voice support and touch screens, all which encourage exploration. Many of the software programs incorporate disguised learning activities that expand the child's experience through games and extension activities. Teachers can assign software programs and customize the content to address student and curricular needs. Software use can be monitored through usage reports. Progress reports, activity reports and family extension activities all encourage connections between school and home.

The Early Literacy Station Head Starter is also available as a software only license for customers with their own hardware.
