(MMD Newswire) October 28, 2009 -- Although we understand that many stations like submissions on CD, we ask for a special exception in this case only. The less we spend on sending out CD's and press kits, the more which will go back to the troops. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
Please find links for the MP3 & Hi Quality versions of the title track and first single for immediate release from the November 11, 2009 CD Release from Independents For Independents, "We Will Be There.
The CD will benefit various organizations in Canada, The United States and the UK. These organizations work with families of fallen soldiers in these countries in addition to projects for soldiers returning from active duty with life altering injuries. All bands and artists on the comilation CD have donated their time and talents for this very worthy cause to demonstrate the support which independent recording artists want the troops to feel. The CD is available for pre-order right now online at www.cd4thetroops.com and will be available at retailers and online stores worldide on November 11, 2009.

The title track was recorded in Vancouver, BC Canada at the Warehouse Studios, by a group of artists from various bands and solo careers with leed vocals by Eric Peterson of Victoria, British Columbia. The track was co-written by Erick Raschig and James Miller and produced by James Miller, president of the International Network of Independent Recording Artists. The CD was complied and produced by James Miller as well. James claims " I am tired of people confusing support for the troops with support for any individual mission. Our brave men and women of the armed forces signed on to protect our countries and work towards a goal of world peace. they did not sign on with a stipulation that they will go to the front line only if they agree with the mission. People are free to have their personal feelings about any military action and that is what democracy is about. What we should not do is combine our feelings about any mission with our feelings towards our troops. It is the troops of current and past who have afforded us the freedoms and pleasures we share as free nations. So with that I hope people will show their support of the "We Will Be There" CD and buy it, request it at all of your local radio stations and enjoy the amazing music compiled on the CD from all music genres. Also I encourage everyone to go to the www.cd4thetroops.com website and send a personal message of appreciation to the troops via the online form."
A full listing of the tracks on the CD is on the website as are many songs which you can listen to online. We ask that people refrain from illegal downloads of the tracks from the CD as it is taking from the soldiers risking (and some giving up) their lives for each and every one of us.
