METROPLEX PRINTING AND FINISHING, INC. COMPLETES ITS ACQUISITION OF THE ASSETS OF JB PRINTING, INC.
Add-on Acquisition Will Increase Sales and Capacity
LEWISVILLE, TX -- November 1, 2006 -- Metroplex Printing and Finishing, Inc. (the “Company”) announced today that it has completed its purchase of substantially all of the assets and business of JB Printing, Inc. (“JB”), which is the successor company to KM Graphics, Inc. The sale allows the business of JB to continue and expand as an integrated unit of the Company.
As a part of the purchase, the Company will substantially increase its capacity with the addition of a four-color, forty-inch Harris sheetfed press. The customers of JB will continue to receive the superior printing quality to which they are accustomed, and will now have the benefit of the complete range of printing, finishing, and mailing services offered by the Company under one roof. Jeff Sandidge, the principal of JB and a highly skilled printer with over two decades of experience, will be a valuable addition to the Company and will serve as its lead Harris pressman.
Eric M.
