Global Cultural Connections Hosts Interfaith Dialog Dinners
What:
Global Cultural Connections, GCC, is organizing its 3rd Annual Interfaith Dialogue Dinners uniting the members of different faiths around a table. Our honorable guests will include the Los Angeles Sheriff Leroy Baca and council members, among many other distinguished guests. The theme of the dinners will be "Respecting the Sacred" which will stress on the importance of being respectful to the beliefs and sacred figures of world’s religions. GCC was founded in 2003 by a group of Southern California residents. It is aimed to promote and advance a better understanding and sharing among members of different faiths and cultures. GCC believes, especially in these times of turmoil, that we need to unite together to organize events that will bring communities together to build a bridge of understanding in an effort to build peace.
